Dogtoberfest was Awesome!!!!

Our community center is literally in our back yard and every weekend lately there has been one festival or another. This time – Dogtoberfest!!! How lucky are we? And it was totally packed with dog love.

Dachsund races – we stayed a very safe distance from this excitement. No need to dislocate my arm, ya know?

And then we found the sighthounds. :)
This is Mirage, a gorgeous brindle/parti borzoi. Ok, that’s what it would be called in the greyhound world anyway. Does that still fly for borzois?

I would have run off with Dutch if Carol hadn’t been holding his lead tightly.That’s too much excellence for any one dog.

And a 13 year young yodeling whippet. :)

You can’t tell in this photo how tall this IG really is, but I had a hard time telling if it was a whippet or IG from a distance. ALL LEGS!

But the highlight of the day…PUPPY!!!!!! Yup. I’m in love.
