The national Take Your Dog to Work Day was held on June 26th and thanks to the interwebs, word is getting around. It was cool to find more publicity for this important day on other blogs, namely takeyourdog.com.

“According to a recent survey conducted by The American Pet Products Manufacturers Association (APPMA), nearly one in five companies allow pets in the workplace. According to the survey, millions of employees felt that pets in the workplace led to a more creative environment, decreased absenteeism, improved productivity and helped co-workers get along better.”
